Parking & Directions
We’re located on Chicago’s north side in Lakeview at 3946 N. Southport Ave, just two blocks west of Clark St. and south of Irving Park Rd. Parking is usually easy to find, with both free and paid options available.
Please note that when there’s a Cubs game at nearby Wrigley Field, parking restrictions increase and traffic can be heavier. We recommend allowing extra time to arrive comfortably.
PARKING
On Southport: Metered parking is available directly in front of the studio, Monday–Saturday from 8am to 10pm (3-hour max, $2.50/hr). Parking is free all day on Sundays. Just north and south of our location on Southport, street parking is free.
On Irving Park Rd: Metered parking is also available here, with the same hours and rates: Monday–Saturday, 8am–10pm, 3-hour max at $2.50/hr. Free on Sundays.
On side streets: Many nearby side streets offer free parking. Give yourself a little extra time, and under normal conditions, finding a spot shouldn’t be an issue.
During Cubs Games: During night games, side-street parking is resident-only after 5pm. For day games, parking is open to all—but spots fill quickly. We recommend alternative transportation or allowing extra time to park. Cubs Schedule
BUSES
- Clark #22: Descend at Irving Pk. Walk west 1½ blocks to Southport. Turn left.
- Ashland #9: Descend at Southport & Irving Pk. Walk south on Southport.
- Irving Pk #80: Descend at Southport & Irving Pk. Walk south on Southport.
TRAINS
- Brown line L Train: Descend at Southport. Walk north approx. 7 blocks.
- Red Line L Train: Descend at Sheridan.
- Take Irving Pk bus #80. Descend at Southport. Walk south.
- Or walk west on Irving Pk for approx. ¼ mile. Turn left on Southport.
EXPRESSWAY
- I90/94: Exit at Irving Pk. Go east. Turn south on Southport.
- Lakeshore Drive: Exit at Irving Pk. GO west. Turn south) on Southport.
